Support Coordination
Support Coordination is an NDIS-funded service that helps participants make the best use of their NDIS funds. Following approval of a plan, participants collaborate with support coordinators to connect with providers and decide how their funds will be used. At Vis-Ability Support Services our aim is to provide participants with support coordination services that:
- Explain the different budget categories and how they can be utilised to work towards their NDIS goals.
- Facilitate in-depth and personalised discussions on what is achievable with their NDIS funds.
- Build their capacity to exercise choice and control.
- Work collaboratively with them to find the best support options for them by guiding them through the NDIS marketplace.
- Make them feel at ease when navigating the NDIS landscape.
To access support coordination it must be stated in a person's NDIS plan under "Capacity Building".
