Vis-Ability Support Services began with a vision for an inclusive world where everyone has the opportunity to be seen, be heard, and feel empowered to achieve the goals meaningful to them.
From this vision Vis-Ability Support Services was created to have a service that provides individuals living with a disability support in the manner of their choosing, whilst always highlighting their strengths and abilities.
The name Vis, Latin for strength, hyphen Ability, was decided upon as it encapsulates the principals that ground our service of assisting people to be seen, heard, and empowered by focusing on their strengths and abilities.
Vis-Ability Support Services now has a team of dedicated staff who always aim to provide the highest level of person-centred service with all those we work with and wholeheartedly believe in our core values of respect, honesty, and empowerment.
