Occupational therapy enables people to participate in activities that are meaningful to them. These activities can include caring for oneself (and others), working, giving back to the community, and engaging in interests, hobbies, and social gatherings.
Occupational therapy is a person-centred health profession that involves ongoing assessments to determine what activities you can do (and those you want to do), any current limitations, your goals and motivations, as well as to provide advice and techniques on how to do things more easily and safely.
