
An empathetic, patient, and compassionate support worker with the Vis-Ability Support Services team. Sophie always brings a person-centred approach to the work she does, taking the time to get to know someone and meet them where they are on their life journey. Sophie is completing her Master of Counselling and holds a Graduate Diploma of Psychology and Bachelor of Advanced Studies in Psychology (Honours). On top of her tertiary education Sophie has worked as a psychosocial recovery coach/support coordinator and support worker.

Sophie enjoys support work as it allows her to work with different people of all abilities and empower them in their lives whilst working collaboratively with them towards their goals. She feels privileged to be able to walk alongside people on their individual journeys, learning their unique strengths and stories.
