Philip
Meet Philip (aka Phil),
A patient, empathetic, calm support worker with a brilliant sense of humour. Phil joins the Vis-Ability Support Services team with over 10 years’ experience working in community mental health from in-home support, residential services, and community outreach. He has completed a multitude of mental health courses and qualifications including Trauma-informed care, Negotiation & Crisis Intervention, Intoxication and Withdrawal in Dual Diagnosis, and Optimal Health training.
Phil’s hobbies include:
- Anything comedy related from live shows, TV series, and films.
- Music
- Outdoor activities
- Reading
- Exhibitions and events
Phil enjoys support work as it allows him to support clients to live a more meaningful life by assisting them to pursue their interests, goals, and ambitions. He also likes that support work allows him to help clients connect with their community and other support networks.
